Tampa Tank, Inc. and Florida Structural are committed to setting the highest standards in Safety and Environmental excellence.   To assist us in achieving our goals we have in place an excellent safety program that offers ongoing training in all facets of our industry.  It is our belief that this training and a rewards program has set the standard for a “0” incident workplace.  With these thoughts in mind we are aware that there is always room for improvement!

   In 2009 we hit a milestone by succeeding in having no recordable lost time accidents and this was in great part due to our increased awareness of a good

“safety and training” program.   We dropped our TRIR rate from a 10 in 2008 down to a 3 in 2009 and it is our 2010 goal to have no incidents thereby improving our safety statistics.

   We have had the honor of receiving a Safety Merit Award from the Fabrication & Manufacturers Association for having a 2009 illness and injury incident rate at least 10%  better than the Published Bureau of Labor Statistics for our NAICS

Code. and an award from Tampa Safety Council for working 639,996 hours without a lost time accident from June 28, 2008 through March 31, 2010.
